I thought Super Mario Galaxy was a quite enjoyable game. The levels were fun, clever and sometimes difficult. It was a good feature to be able to shoot star bits (which were collected by picking them up or using the star cursor to attract them to you). Using the feature of shooting star bits, you can stun enemies or use them to hit lights which coins pop out of. The amount of stars were surprising (242) unlike Super Mario Sunshine's measly 120. It was also cool that you could star spin to make yourself jump higher or stun enemies and activate switches. Another feature witch was thumbs up for me was the ability to play as Luigi. Luigi jumps higher and also runs faster but Mario can breathe underwater for longer than Luigi and Luigi loses air when he star spins underwater.
A bad point of this game is that it can get repetitive collecting stars since some of the stars have to be collected by a comet coming into orbit with the galaxy. And the comet levels are only more difficult versions of levels which you have already done before. Another bad point is that when you play as Luigi, the levels aren't much harder, and all the levels are the same. I currently have 80 stars as Luigi, and i think it will stay like that for a long time. In conclusion, I give this game 9 out of 10 stars!
