Can someone give me a rundown of all the main Mario games released? I want to get the Marios for the GBA but I also want to know where they came from, are they all SNES ports or what? I'm kinda confused on the whole Mario release of games and what they are:confused:

Super Mario Advance- Super Mario Bros 2 USA, NES

Super Mario Advance 2- Super Mario World, SNES

Super Mario Advance 3- Yoshi's Island Super Mario World 2, SNES

Super Mario Advance 4- Super Mario Bros 3, NES

Super Mario Bros Classic NES series- Super Mario Bros, NES

I have all of them plus Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga. And Mario Kart Super Circuit. And Wario Land 4. All good games.

they should re-make Super Mario RPG for GBA.. that was a good game.

Actually, the DS would be a much better bet, as it's a newer console, and the Wii should have it as a Virtual Console game.

Yeah that helped, thanks. Can you give me the rundown of console releases for the main games? Beginning with Super Mario Bros. on NES and up through Mario Galaxy for Wii? I'm somewhat confused on the whole thing about the USA version of 2 and all that stuff.

Thank you very much. Wasn't the USA version of SMB 2 a different game in Japan that they just took to the US and put Mario in as the hero instead of whoever it was originally in Japan?

I think it was a game called Doki Doki Panic, about some kids who were taken into a story book and their family are the heroes. The family look rather like the Mario equivalents...
