Ok, I am writing a guide on how to make money on Runescape. Note: F2P = Free P2P = members.

Profitable monsters
================================================== ========
Monsters with good drops:
Note: I include what I feel are decent drops.

Red dragons: P2P
100% Drops :Dragon bones, red dragonhide (5.5k per kill)
Chance Drops: Runite longswords, level 3 clue scrolls, runite darts, HALF KEYS, DRAGON MEDIUM HELMS AND SHIELD LEFT HALVES
Best spot? Level 38 wilderness dragon island.
How to kill: Bring the BEST HALBERD YOU CAN BUY. DO NOT bring runes or arrows. Go to the wilderness, with nothing but the halberd (and maybe some food) and hide behind the corpses while halberding.
Notes:Also in brimhaven dungeon.
Advantages:5.5K a kill and little to no competition.
Disadvantages:Pkers, take a while to kill.
Rating - 8/10

Giant mole: P2P
100% drops:Big bones, mole skins and mole claws
Chance drops:Adamant longsword, Rune spear, Rune 2h sword, Adamant avelins, Runite javelins Rune battleaxe, Dragon spear
Runite med helm, Mithril platebody, Mithril chainbody, Dragon med helm, Runite kiteshield, Runite sq shield, amulet of glory
Best spot? Falador gardens (dig on a molehill)
How to kill: Bring a dragon dagger (p++) and poison moleymoley and hide. Wait... and wait... and wait... BRING SHARKS!
Notes: DO NOT FORGET A LAMP OR YOU WILL DIE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
Advantages:Good drops
Disadvantages:Clans sometimes take the kill.

Hellhounds p2p
100%drops - bones (only 4exp per bone)
Chance drops - level 3 clue scrolls
Best spot? Ardougne "perfect gold" dungeon.
How to kill: Range, halberd or mage
Notes: Only drop is clues and has a comparitively high rate of dropping them.
Advantages:Clue drops
Disadvantages:Competition and lack of other drops

Lesser demons f2p
100% drops - ash
Chance drops (free)- Runite medium helmets
Chance drops (members) Runite + dragon spears, shield left halves, champion scrolls, half keys.
Best spot? Karamja volcano and wizard tower (mage/range only, bring telegrab runes)
Notes: Good safespots in Karamja volcano
How to kill: Mage, range or if you have decent defence, melee.
Advantages: Best monster to train on in free worlds.
Disadvantages:Competition and bad drops on free worlds.

Greater demons - F2P
100% Drops - ash
Chance drops (free) - adamant legs, runite mace, runite full helm
Chance drops (members) clue scrolls, Shield left half, half keys
Best spot? Either level 45 wilderness (only f2p spot) or Brimhaven dungeon
Notes:Hit quite high, so bring food.
How to kill: Halberd or torag's armour. (DO NOT USE TORAG'S ARMOUR IN THE WILDERNESS)
Advantages - low defence
Disadvantages:Only one free world location - the wilderness. (In a popular pking spot)

Jellies- P2P
100% Drops - none
Chance drops - runite platebodies, clue scrolls, runite full helms
Best spot? Slayer cave
How to kill:Melee, bring full Guthan's armour for healing. WEAR YOUR BEST DRAGONHIDE ARMOUR/KARIL'S TOP AND SKIRT FOR MAGIC DEFENSE.
Notes: 52 slayer required
Advantages: High clue drop rate, weak max hit (ring of life will help alot)
Disadvantages:52 slayer requirement

Running (running to one place and back)

Oak planks p2p:
You will need: 1000 oak logs, and 250gp per oak log
Where do you run? Sawmill (near the jolly boar inn)
DO NOT TRADE ANYONE HERE
Profit margins: Try to buy logs for 50gp each (you will get a seller quickly on the construction forums) and sell for 500each. Profit per 1000 is 200,000gp. Each 1000 takes around 2 hours for me (I was watching a film at the time though)

Law running P2P:
You will need: Pure essence
Where do you run? Entrana WORLD 64
Profit margins: I don't know how the running business works, but I have heard it is very profitable. You should make 200,000gp per 1k essense.
However, this is in high demand so I would take oak planks.

Skills

Fishing:
Inputs: Bait/feathers for low leveled fish, a few gp for equipment
Outputs:Fish
Profit margins: Depends what you catch.
Best outputs: Sharks, Lobsters, Swordfish and Monkfish
Rating: 9/10 (gets a bit boring and free worlds are overcrowded)

Woodcutting
Inputs: Hatchets
Outputs:Logs
Profit margins: VERY HIGH!
Best outputs: Yew (300coins each) and magic logs (1000 coins each)
Rating: 10/10 - Doesn't take long to train and you can make nice profits.

Slayer - P2P
Inputs: Food, armour, weapons
Outputs: Drops
Profit margins: I have heard of people making millions by simply doing slayer tasks.
Best outputs: Clues, ABYSSAL WHIPS AT 85 SLAYER! 1.6 MILLION COINS EACH!
Rating: 6/10 too many inputs and takes a long time to train.

Runecrafting
Inputs: Pure/rune essense
Outputs: Runes
Profit margins: Nature runes can net you 300k an hour. Oh, double natures (91 runecrafting) apparently get 1 million coins per hour
Best outputs: Nature runes
rating:7/10: Takes a long time to train.
