Freakiest game scenarios?

This bit really freaked me out. At 2am, I woke up and decided to play mgs2.
I was near the end of the game and got freaky codec(phone) calls such as these.
"Infiltrate...
the enemy fortress...
outer heaven...
destroy...
the final weapon....
metal gear..."

"I heard its amazing, when the famous purple stuffed worm, on the tuning fork, does a blank on Hari-kari rock. I NEED SCISSORS! 61!"

"Mind the gap"

And some weird paragraph in Japanese.

Another is the Flood scene on Halo.

That was cool, it was built up by freaky experiences in the level. (The crazy marine) "YOU AREN'T TURNING ME INTO ONE OF THOSE THINGS! ARGGGH GET AWAY FROM ME YOU FREAKS! I'LL DIE FIRST!

I remember palying Resident Evil 2 for the first time. It was very late and I was in the Police Station, walking along a corridor... then... arms popped out the wall and started eating me. =O
