What would you think the next bosses would be if either there were more stages or bosses other than Cretaphid and Slench in the main game? My V5 versions would be:
Cretaphid V5
This version has a new ability in that it is attached to the ceiling, and moves around above of you, slamming down like a Crash Pillar in other parts of the game. It also has eight lasers and does not fire green balls, instead firing out Imperialist style red laser attacks at varying intervals. To defeat it this time round, you must wait until it goes overhead, and shoot the Omega Cannon at the weak part on the base, which will cause the dots to become visible. Shoot them all, and eventually you can shoot the top crystal, which now fires those imperialist shots directly at your character. Drain it's health to win.
Now, anyone else got any ideas?

That's better than Gorea! Really! Mine would be like this:
"Smash Pillar"
And you thought Crash Pillars were annoying? Well, to defeat this one, you must first shoot a weapon at it's eye, which will cause it to run around, hurting anything it hits badly. When it stops, it will suddenly shoot out four stone tentacles, which will spin for a short period of time. You must avoid these by jumping. When the stone tentacles retreat back into the Smash Pillar, it will start to run after you, and attempt to crush you by jumping on you. Now, you must use a weapon (Different weapons have different damage amounts) and shoot at it's under belly, which will hurt it. Repeat these steps until the Smash Pillar is fully damaged, causing it to turn into a pile of rocks, and nothing else.
I chose to go along a different approach to a boss.

Nice one Nintendan! Anyone else got any ideas, because I need help in making a Slench V5 boss.

Slench V5:
This one would be harder than the others, as Slench would be underneath you! There would be a ring around the arena, so there would be a hole in it where the Slench would stay in it's position. When you shoot the three things, it flies up, and an electric forcefield surrounds it for a minute, and it starts to roll around the arena like a ball. If you get touched by the forcefield, you'll be sent across the other side of the field and lose 50 points of energy. Also, it will be invunlerable to attacks in this state. When the forcefield disappears, the slench will be immune to attacks. But, it will shoot 3 electric beams simultaneously in random directions. These will not cause much damage, but when you are being zapped, the Slench will drain your health and replenish itself, simialr to the Shock Coil. Just repeat these phases and after killing him, you get a Donkey Kong toy. Also, this room would have little gravity, so you would be able to jump over the hole in the middle to the other side.
Leave out the DK toy, and there you go! Sound good?

Well, it could get kind of hard to program a completely random boss, I think...
