are you tired of hackers, glitch exploiters, and alt. spammers, at first you might let it slide but after a while it can get VERY frustrating (ALT spammers=Noobz)
anyway, there is a way to safely D/C from a game without affecting your record. Let's say you are in a match with a hacker, everyone D/Cs and you are the only one left in the match, you do not want to D/C because you don't want to harm your record...

step1-turn off your game during the match
step2-turn back on,(duh) and make sure not to connect to wifi.
step3-go DIRECTLY to a bot match AND WIN.
step3-Check your record, it should be the same as before.

that's it...I'm not sure why it does this, but it helps.
Don't be a sore loser and go doing this every time you lose a match. hope I helped some people.

Quitting can make you as bad as them.

Quitting can make you as bad as them.

Are you implying quitting on cheaters makes you bad like them?

This is because of how the game saves. Remember that when you started that match, you got a message saying that your game was saving? It looks for a second save after the match that tells it that you have completed the match, and affects your stats according to the match's outcome. Now, when you play that BOT match, it reads the second save and doesn't change your online stats, thinking you completed the online match, though it only adds up the stats for the BOT match, acting like the online match never really happened.

If you want another way to safely D/C, then you can either:

1) Turn off your router

2) Go out of range of your router

I don't think that disconnecting when there is a cheater around makes you a bad player. Disconnecting when a player is using tactics that you may not like, though is still entirely legit, is NOT okay (i.e. "alt spamming.") When you disconnect for something like that, or because you are losing, there is a great word to describe you, and that is "noob." Please, don't do that. It doesn't make other people very happy...myself included. But on hackers? No...hackers want you to stay in the game, because they find enjoyment in cheating against you (at least the ones that hack online, I'm not trying to stereotype anyone on here.)

some hackers are pretty stupid, like one person only used infinite health, so all you had to do was run away. there are hackers that use forever Deathalt, which i found out you can actually kill them if you have the power up too.

Sure, but there are smart ones too. If I went insane I started hacking online with the many codes I have for MPH, I'd make sure that I couldn't die and could easily catch you (fast running or warp codes) and if you tried to disconnect, I would just auto-end the game.

I think some hackers don't want you to know that they are hacking...that might be why they would just use infinite health instead of using the Omega Cannon or flying.

yeah, i only use this method on hackers, but only if i am the only one matched with a hacker...and I make sure they are using cheats before i actually disconnect. Alt spammers really don't bother me enough to D/C on them, although i might get frustrated...i will keep on playing.

Meh. Not as bad seeming as disconnecting or certain hacking (infinite health, infinite deathalt, aimbot type codes, instant kill).
