Serious Mario RPGs- Those quotes which prove it

Below are some quotes from what you can hear the Crows in Twilight Town in Paper Mario 2 say, which in my opinion, kind of are very serious for such a supposedly light hearted series:

How can someone say that's light hearted?

Then again, the area looks like something from an old horror film in appearance, with the moon massive in background, the people like rag dolls and being transformed to 3D realistic pigs by a bell toll...

I've never played PM2 (only 1) but that seem completely out of any Mario game context. Especially the global warming one.

Global Warming may not be our problem. Scientists must agree 100% for a problem to be so to be considered a problem. Now it is a vote, a majority vote. But it still may not be our fault. It could be noones fault. Maybe we ARE like Einstein's theory of marbles on a huge carpet, slowly spinning in circles, getting closer to our source of life that will be our unending source of death.

Just a thought, not to scare anyone, but Einstein himself did state that.

Interesting theory about global warming there... It's weird this stuff is in a Mario game though.

Yeah. I have another theory to say though (old philosophical theory thing), and that is 'Can we know anything as provable fact?'

Oh, and if you mean Einsteins Theory of Relativity, it's quite remarkable how he thought up that theory, and more so how few people can understand it.

Yes.
It seems to state that to bend space, you need to bend "nothing".
Just like a carpet, if you fold it so both sides touch you could get from any location to another over 100X quicker.
But how do you bend something that "doesn't exist??"

All great questions, with no near future answer.
For now, we are all just blaming ourselves:(
