Well, I may want to re-emphasise the site fan work submission rules, this time for comics. Now, these submission rules are taken very lightly, so there is a 98.5% chance of your comic being actually included on the main website. However, there have to be some leniant quality control rules, so listen up!
1- If your comic is chronically poor artistically/drawing wise, don't submit
Seriously, if you draw like the average three year old, or leave huge white boxes around sprites, or draw with stick men, or your comic subjects are indistinguishable (cannot be recognised), do not submit otherwise you will get totally laughed at and ignored. Basically, if your person looks like a snowman, your hat a UFO and your cat picture some mutated monster from Professor Frankenstein (or Mad Scienstein's) laboratory, then you are most likely going to fail this badly.
2- You need some humour or a plot
Preferably both. If you have no plot, and your random comic is not funny, expect total rejection on every ground possible.
3- It must be appropriate for all ages!
In other words, not every word must be a swear word, the jokes must be somewhat innocent and illegal/age limited activities kept to a minimum. Yes, we are allowed anything that is legal in the state our host is based, but don't push this too far, this is a family site!
4- It must be your own work
If you even trying passing off other people's work as your own, expect serious consequences, as we hate plagiarism and copyright infringment. However, anything in the public domain is technically okay, but think to yourself that anything not saying it is in the public domain is not allowed to be hosted here without author permission (or yours if you are the author).
5- Nintendo related is preferable, if not gaming related, or maybe internet related
Look, this is a Nintendo site, not a gardening, cat keeping, sports or race car site. Please keep it as such in content departments.
