There are absolutely no best system. It is just based on the system you would prefer. Wii for interaction and moving around. 360 for tech stuff. PS3 is the same but it's based on what exclusives you are waiting for. Say you like Resistance, than PS3 is for you. Halo, 360 for you. And you can't just say that PS3 costs a lot so it sucks. Remember, you pay $50 a year for Xbox@live and Playstation@Network is free. So in a few years you would have payed for the same amount for 360 as PS3.

The problem with those sources is that they are all heavily biased. Heck, I don't personally trust Yahoo Answers myself because of how it's now often used as a website marketing tool rather than a help service...
As for the PS3, I think the Blu-ray thing would kill it, not help it. Why? Because yes, it's a cheap player of those discs. But that's likely all most people would buy it for, not the games. And I hear Sony makes a LOSS for each console sold, and makes money from the games. Bad problem, considering the Wii makes profit per console, since with no one buying the actual games, they'd go under, regardless of sales. Think about it, why would a Nintendo or Xbox fan BUY games for the PS3 or use it for anything other than a cheap DVD player? They often have similar or better games on their own consoles, and hence their sales would kill the PS3.

The problem with that is that you'd be waiting a long time for very few exclusives on the PS3, and hence the other consoles, unless you like the few games on the PS3 which are exclusive would be a better deal. But the point about picking what you prefer is so true...

You do know that Blu-Ray is not just for movies, it's also for the games too?
Blu-Ray can store 25-50gs(I forget which)
PS3 may not be the best system, but it will definitly have much better exclusives.
If you don't trust Yahoo Answers anymore, then only look for the answers with the replier having all three systems. Thats why I'm not saying which is the best system. Thats because I don't have all three. Things can be heavily underestimated without the right source of information.

I know it plays games with the Blu-Ray functionality, but it won't have better exclusives because of business sense. Why would a company make exclusives for a losing console? Ever noticed that most of it's big games are shared with the xBox360? Remember, game developers are in it for money in the end.
Secondly, it won't have better exclusives just because of hardware. For example, nothing Nintendo makes will EVER come out on the PS3, and many of those obviously didnt need the PS3 technical specifications. Mario Galaxy, Smash Bros Brawl, Mario Kart Wii, Legend of Zelda games, Metroid Prime 3... Then even the casual games like Wii Sports, Wii Play and Wii Fit. They alone need functions the PS3 cannot provide. Remember, a game can have the best graphics and sound in the world, and even the biggest levels but be bad. Gameplay is king just as how in media sources, CONTENT is king. Simple can be better than complicated in terms of style. Think about how popular the casual games are. And how games like Warioware are actually pretty good sellers compared to some rather more complex games in technical power. Bit like how the top dogs online (Google and the like) beat the sites with overcomplexity (Yahoo) and all sites focusing on appearances (any graphics and art site in existance). Because they were useful in the same way the simpler games were fun.

What do you mean not make exclusives for a losing console. As far as I know, PS3 has been neglected because it costs too much and has "bad games" and "is a copy of 360". These are the main reason why it's not selling much. People just have to face reality and see that it is just as good as the other systems. The differences were displayed earlier. PS3 is going to continue getting better games becuase it, in reality, will be in big competition with the other systems. PS3 is actually a great system. It is gonna have a sequel to Uncharted: Drakes Fortune, a great game, and Resistance 2 will some out also. Metal Gear Solid 4 is coming out too. And there are rumors that Grand Theft Auto 4 is coming out only for PS3 because of what the system can handle. As for the shared games, games like CoD4 are shared because they have a great online play, like Halo 3, but the game is somewhat short. Call of Duty 4 may be big, but not that big. Most games are going to be exclusives because of how PS3's games can support 25-50 g's. Just look at how Haze moved from 360 and PC to a PS3 exclusive. Ubisoft and Free Radical didn't want a short game and such. They wanted fans to buy their merchandise, and money, by creating a game that can be better on the PS3. PS3 is not just having games, but it's being constantly upgraded. The Playstation Network is going to publish Home, a virtual reality software that makes a virtual you in the world. And look, Sony made a software that lets your PS3 connect to Folding@Home. This is a software that lets people help create cures for diseases and such, bye using your PS3 while it's not used by you, and the other companies didn't even think about it, let alone try.
Maybe simpler games are fun, but games like these are just as fun, maybe funner.

Brawl simple? Mario Galaxy simple? Mario Kart simple? Twilight Princess simple? Metroid Prime 3 simple? No comment on any others, since I don't know or care less about what's been announced on all consoles in the near future. And yet none will ever reach the PS3. And many have made the top selling games lists. Big care. About three games versus all the exclusives Nintendo can deliver for themselves, and the games which aren't PS3 exclusive. Plus, in the long term, the PS3 will lose money. Hell, if they don't sell a ton of different games, then the losses on the console will probably outweight the profits from the games, and hence these successes will only be so for the companies making the games, not Sony.

Now, you are making this about which is the best company. This is about best CONSOLE. And don't forget, Wii is the best selling console because although Wii is appropriate for all ages, it is leaning more towards kids, and all kids would enjoy whte games Wii has, and thats why they are making so many games like Metroid Prime Corruption and such. This isn't about which Console is selling the most, it's about the PERFORMANCE. I don't have a sensse of loyallty in Sony, I just bought a console that I would like the most. Yor turning this into which company is best/which console is selling the most. Wii has fun games but it depends on the performance of the games. People don't want to feel the same feeling of fun all the time, it will get boring. PS3's games and future games develope different senses of fun. Have you ever played Uncharted: Drake's Fortune? That gives a sense of fun like no other games anyone has played.
If you reply again, don't talk about the sales and such, talk about the performance.
And please don't make the topic of your next post about PS3 sucking and all that stuff, this is about best console, you are suppose to talk about different consoles and their performances. The only performance talked about so far is a PS3's and a bit of the 360's and Wii's

Hence a very hypocritical statement. The whole point of the Wii having motion controls was to exactly fit this statement. How can a game with old fashioned controls and likely old fashioned gameplay come under a new feeling of gameplay?
Besides, want examples of new feelings of gameplay? Legend of Zelda and such (sword fighting), Link's Crossbow Training and Wii Zapper games (shooting with the remote and pointer), Warioware (random microgames controlled in a ton of different ways), Wii Sports (sports that are for all ages and feel like the originals, at least in Wii Bowling). Probably a ton of others as well.

The only games PS3 really stands a chance on making money for are FFXIII and MGS4. These are two of the biggest titles Sony uses to help market themselves and the whole reason they're still in the console race. Essentially every other game being released now is shared between 360 and PS3, so PS3 gets almost no exclusives that make people want to buy it. Even GTA IV, a series that used to be a huge market for Sony, has moved over to 360 as well.

PSP came before 360. PSP is similar to PS3. That means Sony already had ideas for PS3. 360 is "similar" to PS3. This may be because of the PSP and how it had Music features and such. Maybe that's because both the PS3 and Xbox360 are trying to be an 'all in one media, games and entertainment system', in similar way to various other pieces of technology such as the... computer and TV and hence have such features?
As for exclusive games... I doubt their sales will offset the console loss.

Until it actually doesn't even deserve to even be a system. (Such as games becoming much worse, developers doing hardly anything, PS3's performance getting downgraded or upgraded in a bad way etc.)But I know when this will start happening, I can tell by how the games are when developed, the time on them etc. When that happens (Maybe an 18% or around that), I'll be prepared to get a Wii or 360. When the first sign comes, Ill sell my PS3 right away, and get a new system.
So if the meaning of "End" becomes re-defined to when it's crap (or becoming). Yes, I'm willing to defend PS3 until the "End".

You'll be waiting a long time for most of them. Games getting worse? What games? Developers doing hardly anything? Like right now? Downgraded or upgraded in a bad way? So Sony loses even more money?

I really believe that PSP is the best Playstation system, and the first Playstation was probably the biggest competitor towards N64. But the only reason to buy a playstation system now, besides PSP, is Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, God of War, and very few other exclusives. Out of the three 7th generation systems, I prefer 360.

You know what? Go continue the PS3 hate. It seems like that everything I say has no effect on people. Believe what you want to believe. Just believe that what you believe is wrong.

Um...you're the one who's not listening. Your complete and utter devotion to Sony is sickening. We're pointing out REAL FACTS, and you're just arguing and saying we're wrong.

It's ironic to be a Sony fanboy on a NINTENDO site (no connection to the user). Seen plenty of these kinds of people on a few other sites I go to, and you wonder whether they continue their debates to cause fights deliberately...

I wasn't continuing any PS3 hate in my comment, how about actually start giving good reasons why we believe "wrong" things.

Now he's even run out of arguments. Seriously, be intelligent and give a nice debate in return...
