Comments on DS Lite screen brightness?

All I can say about this is the screen for the DS Lite is extremely bright, and works great as a torch when there is a blackout around here, and to see at night. Plus, it lights up Mario Kart Super Circuit and other darker, older GBA games just fine to see the screen properly.

Yeah, I like playing the old GBA games on it, so vibrant colours and not having to hold it up to the lamp, why can't old GBC and GB games work? And why dosen't multiplayer work? :( It would have been soo much better on a DS screen but they made us keep our GBAs and my plan of trading Pokemon with myself is ruined. :( Oh well just get another GBA.

I know, it sucks not being able to play older games on it. I wanted to play Wario Land on the DS, but cannot.

i stay strictly GBA+GBC+GB = GBASP
DS = DS
not game boy games at all on ds because i don't know... i have the newer gbasp with two brightness settings... none of which is the "off" setting.:)
