View Full Version : Do people take the 'snaking'/SSMT argument too far?

In other words, do these arguments go way too far, causing boards and forums to fall apart in flames and trolling? Because I personally think they do at the moment, and each time this comes up, another huge chunk of the Gamefaqs Mario Kart DS board dies to the wars between sides, and it can never nor will ever get resolved with opinions being too strong.

Your opinion?

Sad but true. However, note that 90% of arguments and wars on earth and through history are due to people's non acceptance of the opinions of others.

Man, they complain so much. I wonder how old they are. I`m a snaker and a well skilled gamer. Why not use all your powers to beat someone?

Why not? And why not accept arguments like that don't get anywhere, regardless of what side you're on?

Snakers should be free to use that skill. Don`t stop snaking just because there is a non-snaker there. If people can`t do it, too bad. That will be the hardest mutliplayer Mario Kart that they had ever played.

Tracks are SNES Rainbow Road, Toads Turnpike (Mario Kart 64), Rainbow Road (Mario Kart 64) and Ghost Valley 3 from Super Mario Kart.

Imagine 300cc racing on those tracks!

Seriously, Rainbow Road in 1 minute 30 seconds or so, Figure Eight Circuit in under a minute, 3 laps on Yoshi Falls in 34 seconds, 3 Mario Circuit 1 laps in 27 seconds, Sky Garden in 34 seconds and some other tracks in mega quick time.

It is irony but it would be faster if he did not boost at the start, mini turbo or use mushrooms. Oh, and don't forget that on the 'anti-snaker' immaturity side you have Ziga t (or something) and blustertroy (http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/user.php?board=920788&topic=34726433&user=3895566), who directly flame people for having different opinions (or did before, I know, they insulted members from here directly). Sigh, some people really need to go back to pre school.
