Soon enough my DS will fall apart

During the last week, my DS has been deteriorating. The first thing to break was the cap above the R button. It fell off and even though I put it back on, it still doesn't hold the top section very well. And then the top screen went crazy the next day. It has chosen to start messing up its colors so that it never is in normal mode. If I get it replaced, it will be the THIRD top screen to go into my DS. Luckily I can still play on it. And if I send it in for repairs, it will be the SECOND time.

I still don't know what to do, so I need your advice. Send it in (again!) or just leave it until the only option is to get a new one or get it repaired. I would hope to do the third option, but I'm not even supposed to be able to use it right now! My parents stole the case it was in (an opaque plastic box), so when they weren't at home, I went into it and got the charger, the DS, SM64DS, and my ARDS, not like it would be any use. Either I wait until I "get it back" and then have it "break", or kind of be in pain. So please help, and all help will be appreciated. And once I get rid of this problem, I'll have to tackle the problem of the codes that refuse to load onto my ARDS.

If you're having that many top screens to be replaced and this thing has broken so many times, you should just stop piling new stuff onto crap and buy a new one.

I'll consider that. Maybe in the summer I'll get the crimson one. If I choose to get it repaired again, I think I should try to get these things repaired or replaced:

1. The top screen
2. The top of the bottom (the opaque part)
3. The shoulder buttons

i have a crazy idea....tell your parents to hold it for a....day? then take it and break the ds then put it back...say it is there fault..XDDD..well..i was jk..or was i?..O_O

Interesting idea. But since they now know it's broken, that wouldn't have worked. And I can't exactly play it at the wrong time to get them to take it.

Try repairing it yourself? Okay, maybe that's suicide...

You could always buy a new DS, or if there's someone you don't like much, make it seem like THEY broke it...

How can I do that? Tell me how. Even though I'm really clever. Here's an example of how clever I am:

One night I chose to take out my DS while supposed to be asleep. I played it, and didn't get caught. This kept on happening, until the day I got SM64DS. I was playing in bed, and I think I was getting anrgy because I couldn't beat Goomboss and that's when my parents caught me. But it was a few months before I did.
