What an awesome system that was! So many great titles, and now that the DS is out and very popular, the prices of GBA games will drop. I can't wait to pick up all of the AAA titles I missed. All the Mario games will be mine, and so will the pokemon, ff, and Advance Wars games. It's a shame that they released the Micro so late in the Advance's life... it really is an amazing system. It is unbelieveably tiny and the screen is very bright and because the image is smaller everything looks more accurate and finely tuned. What are some other great games on the GBA?

It was a good system for games, and the SP was good. Pity how the non-backlight for the GBA was awful. But the games are good, so if you want some cheaper games for the DS, buy GBA games like Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, and the other games you said.

Super Mario Advance 2. Then probably a tie between 3 and 4, then 1.

Supposedly it wouldn't fit all the processors and stuff in the DS, or that they were incompatible, or something. Not sure really. Probably the technology is outdated.

The DS can play GBA games, and I already have Alttp, and I have the Collector's Edition for GC so I already have the other two Zeldas for NES.

Very true. No wonder both have outsold the PSP by a ton, especially with how much better Nintendo's games are!

Very true. The amount of Nintendo stuff I have dropped is incredible, but it still does not break often. Oh, and a digital camera, and that didn't break either.

Now let us not be biased. If the PSP only cost around the same as the DS I would probably buy that too, for the shooting games and new FFs bound to come out on it(if it doesn't flop too hard by then). It's truly a great multi-media device. The graphics are superb for a hanheld.

Not really a fan myself. Oh, and I did not really say anything about dropping a PSP, as I can never actually test that anyway.
Besides, as you can tell by this http://dsultimate.net (http://dsultimate.net) I am more of a Nintendo DS fan than a PSP one. But I do not really care what consoles people play anyway.

I wasn't being biased playstaion dosen't build there stuff to last I know from persoanl experance... i would even want to try throwing a PSP on the ground because I'm 90% it wouldn't work anymore... my SP thou i could throw it a across the room and have it hit against the wall and it'd still work....
I'm not a fan of shooters and I lost intrest in new Final fantasy (I like all the older ones 1 - 9) since Squre marged with enix they kinda just weren't as good.. and they started milking FF7.. i personal belive I'm done with FF's...
PS2 did have alot of great games thou

Is the difference in toughness between Playstation and Nintendo products huge? And I don't blame you for losing interest in some games series, as many game developers are just releasing games which may as well be updates with little changed in gameplay.

You would do far better saying what game this fire gym is in. If a game before the GBA release, such as Pokemon Red or Pokemon Gold, ask elsewhere here, if Fire Red/Leaf Green, say so, if Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, ask in that forum.

I didn't look. But there is no fire gym in D/P. There's a fire Elitist Four (SL?) though.
Also if you look now, I've become a lot more posty

A member of the elite four with fire pokemon? That's different.

Technically he's a fire trainer but there are only two sets of fire pokemon (Ponyta, Rapidash and Chimchar, Monferno, Infernape) and he only has two fire pokemon, the rest are different types with fire moves.
