Anyone else think this is one of the best shooters out there? I think this game is easiest shooters to pick up and play. I spent the night at one of my friends house and I brought this to play on his GC and he liked it so much he went out and bought it that week. I also brought it to a friends b-day party and he bought it for his PS2 that same week. I think it could have rivaled Halo if it had been better known.

I have not tried it myself. Supposed to be good though, and I heard Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64 was as well.

Timesplitters or Goldeneye?

Goldeneye quite simply revolutionised the FPS on a machine that hardly had any! It was one of the rare faithful and well made movie adaptations. The game itself is a bit deeper than other FPS, with multiple missions in each level that have to be completed in different ways/orders. The multiplayer was unbelievable, it had a plethora of options to suit any style of play and was seriously addictive. The NPCs were well detailed and animated with different motions depending on where they were shot. All in all, you could write a book about it and still have information for the book's sequel!

Timesplitters was made by many who were on the same team as the one that made Goldeneye. Timesplitters: Future Perfect is the best of them all, with a storyline about crafty time-travelling where you team up with yourself to complete missions. For example, you need to get through a door later on, so your future self shows up and gives you the key. Later on, you travel back to give your past self the key etc. The levels are well designed and the weapons are well balanced and imaginative. The multiplayer excels in this, and as was said before, it could rival Halo IMO.

I didn't have timesplitters 2 but I had TS 1 and TS 3: FP, and I loved them!! Espcially since it's got a map editor to make your own levels! So it other words, timesplitters has everthing you could possibly want in a ps2 game.

Goldeneye was a great game.

and that it was.:)
but yeah, i've played timesplitters 2 and future perfect a lot at friends and i must say they are good shooters; but what makes them even better is (1) their originality and (2) their humor.

i give future perfect 4/5
