What things about the Gamecube make you think back and miss the times when the console was new? For me it was a variety of things, such as all the promise it showed when you saw Luigi's Mansion and Super Mario Sunshine demos, to playing against human opponents in Super Smash Bros Melee and just the enjoyment of multiplayer Mario Kart Double Dash. What things do you remember enjoying, being excited about... etc in relation to the Gamecube console?

1] stepped into the 3d realm.
2] had some of the greatest games ever. [OOT, SM64. Banjo K, Banjo T, Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, MM, Wave Race, etc.....]

I'll get round to a Nintendo 64 topic soon. I still remember Super Mario 64 for the first time...
