When it comes to website design online, it has been noted that usually three sources provide the worst stylings:

1. Lunatics, Conspiracy Theorists and Religious Fundamentalists

2. Educational/Research sites

3. Artistic sites made in Flash

vBulletin 4... What we now know due to the Temporarily Live Forum

Just yesterday, an Alpha copy of vBulletin 4 was put up on a live website, albeit without the permission of Jelsoft/Internet Brands. So, before it was shut down in the inevitable time that would take, I took screenshots of near enough everything on that demo site, showing every possible page that I could think of at the time.

Now, a few things to note. I do not see any law or rules this is breaking, since I am not a member of the Alpha Testing team for vBulletin, and as such, I did...

In Which Hype Can Be the Executioner of a Video Game

Hype and games are a tricky subject. You can't leave a game with nothing said about it until three minutes before the release date in shops, and you cannot either hype a game so much that it will never live up to expectations.

This is the problem, and with some examples, I plan to cover how hype in gaming can easily lead to a massive critical backlash or a game quietly being resigned to the bargain bin of video game history.

A Query about Fan Work and Non Use in Official Works...

Online, I see a lot of comment that many authors of both book series, TV series and video games don't look at fan work in case they get accused of taking something or being inspired by said fan work... but I don't get one thing.

Why would anyone want to sue the sole reason their fan fiction or such like even exists in the first place over apparently taking things from it? Wouldn't 99.999% of fans just hand over their work for free if it was to be an official source, maybe for minor...
