As said in the linked topic, the right hinge and shoulder button are gone, and the DS top screen fails to remain in place.
Bowser N64
This guy has gone through like 4 DS consoles, including one stuck pixel, one DS not turning on at all, few cracked hinges, 4 L and R button replacements, one unexplained crack and unresponsive R button. He's sent his DS console off to repair quite a few times as well.

DS came completely off its hinges, wouldn't work unless the screen was turned 225 degrees and otherwise would just flash on then off for about a hundredth of a second.

Nintendo DS console doesn't work properly because putting it into sleep mode turns the console off and when closed with Mario Kart DS as the game, the charge light flashes and there's an unusual clicking noise.

Yeah well, I'm on my 2nd(had to be fixed) DS onyx, like Bowser64's mine got a crack in the exact same place. Later (still broken) I fell and it hit the ground, it almost came in 2 if those wires weren't there. In a day the screen was white, well the top one.
Another thing, on my first one...there were red flashing lights on my top screen. AND IT WAS SO NEW!
Note: The reason my 2nd one was fixed is because I closed it, and the top screen was cracked, like the crack when you throw a baseball into a window, THE TOP SCREEN SUCKS! Anyway my bottom screen hasn't failed, until it almost came off when I touched it with the stylus.
