Mini Bosses
Since I do not consider Hunters, Guardians or Spawn enemies true bosses, seeing as they are either not one time only, or too weak, I will list them and how to defeat them here.
Guardians
The weakest mini boss enemies you ever face, you should probably be quite grateful if some of these appear instead of a rival hunter, as the battle will be over a lot sooner if they do. For these, just use as many powerful attacks as can be managed. The Morph Ball Bomb works well, as does the Imperialist and Shock Coil.
Log Book Information
Specifically designed to guard the Alimbic Order, these automatons are now programmed to serve in its absence. These intelligent androids often travel in packs, attacking with energy projectiles produced by three small fusion generators located in the cranium.
Fire Spawn
A lava based mutant creature living within a magma pool on the planet Alinos, you will face this monstrosity when you return to the desert/lava world. It's only attack is throwing magma, but since that burns on impact, I would advise you to hide behind the various rock barriers when it throws the magma. The only weapon you should use here is the Judicator, as the ice projectiles it fires are lethal to this thing.
Log Book Infomation
A large creature that thrives on extreme heat, the Fire Spawn breathes superheated lava and never ventures far from its home pit. This creature is particularly unfriendly to carbon based life forms, and will hurl fireballs at anything approaching its territory.
Arctic Spawn
The Fire Spawn clone except with the element of ice, this ice based creature you are forced to battle at Acterra, after getting through the area with the Quadroids. It now throws ice, which can freeze you character, so keep moving and fire the Magmaul at it, to burn it with the fire launched with this powerful weapon. If you keep moving, this thing should never, or rarely hit you.
Log Book Information
Native to frozen habitats, this creature depends in low temperature to survive. The Arctic Spawn is territorial in the extreme and will attack any perceived threat by hurling shards of razor sharp ice.
Hunter Rivals
Kanden
This guy is just pathetically easy. There's no real strategy here to beat him, so just use whatever weapons you feel like. It's recommended though that if he becomes the Stinglarva that you use the Morph Ball with bombs.
Spire
The first part of this battle has him on the floor above, so fire at him through the gap in the floor while staying undercover. When he drops down in alt form, use your alt form to destroy his, and he will flee to High Ground. Now, just beat him in any possible way and he will fall eventually.
Weavel
Just use any attacks. However, he will soon become the Halfturret, so blast at it with your weapons while moving to avoid the blasts of Battlehammer ammo it fires. He will then flee, so chase him to the next room and beat the heck out of him as before.
Sylux
This hunter will most likely drain a decent amount of your energy, and waste much time, so start off by not running. Turn into the Morph Ball and uses bombs to attack him at first so the Shock Coil cannot auto lock-on and give him back the health it drains from you. When he becomes his alt form, do the same. He will eventually run to a different room, so repeat the process while avoiding the attacks from his ship.
Noxus
This guy, I have nothing much to say about than defeat normally, as I found him incredibly easy to defeat. However, watch out, as Trace is firing Imperialist shots around the room, and if you get hit, it hurts a lot.
Trace
Well, the first part of the battle takes place while he is on a high ledge, so keep moving and shoot back until he comes down. Now take him down like normal (watch out for the speed of the Triskellion) and when he turns invisible, use either the scan visor or missiles to locate him and fire at him quickly.
