Super Mario 64 DS Character Bios
Mario
Mario, as the main hero in the game, is the typical hero plumber that everyone knows from the original Super Mario Bros games, Super Mario World etc. Always rushing t save the Princess from the evil Bowser, he's the main character and the all normal one at that.
Luigi
Luigi, Mario's brother, is from Mario Bros, which is the game after Donkey Kong, when Mario first appeared, and is while weaker physically, the higher jumper, faster and has generally better abilities. However, is scared of ghosts, as was shown in Luigi's Mansion, and how he got locked away by King Boo
Wario
Wario, star of the Wario Land games, and Warioware inc, happens to be the stronger, more powerful character in the game, and the one who definetly more thinks about himself, and gaining money/treasure than being the typical hero.
Yoshi
Yoshi, who is now the first playable character, originally from Super Mario World, is generally a quite common Mario game character. He was on the rooftop of the original game, and also has the stranger abilities here as well.
Princess Peach
The character who gets stolen by Bowser in nearly every Mario game in existance, she lives in the castle and is now trapped within the painting at the front of the castle by the reversed power of the stars.
Toad/Toads
There are many of these small guys in the castle, and each one helps the characters in some way, either via giving help with puzzles and levels, and in three unique cases, they give away a free power star!
Evil Characters:
Bowser
Bowser is the true villain of most Mario games, and each game has him capturing someone, usuallly Princess Peach, but sometimes Mario or another character, and the character who remains un captured ends up having to rescue the captured. In this game though, he has stolen the power stars, turned the paintings into mini worlds and locked away Princess Peach, Mario, Luigi and Wario, giving the keys to various bosses in some special areas.
Bosses:
Big Bob-omb
The 'Baron of all blasting matter', he proclaims to be the king of all bob-ombs. He is a very over confident foe, but still has the weakness to his own explosives and being thrown across the mountain.
King Whomp
An angry living paving slab, he is annoyed at how others walk all over his species. However, he is an easy rival, with a giant X on his back marking where you ground pound him, and destroy him.
Eyerok
Two giant stone hands within a tomb deep inside the pyramid, this thing hates intruders and wants to destroy any who enter it's tomb for the star with brute force. Easily beaten by punching each hand in the eye though.
Wiggler
Angry you totally flooded his mountain home, and annoyed by the power of the star, this giant insect wants to squash Mario and friends like a bug. Sadly for him, he is still weak when it comes to ground pounding the beasts head.
Character Captors:
Goomboss
The annnoyed Goomba king, he locked away Mario as Mario has been stomping all over his species, and the king hates those who destroy goombas. He, with a small army of Goombas, faces the character in Goomboss Battle, but can easily be destroyed by punching goombas at him, or as Mario, punching him while Mega Mario.
King Boo/Big Boo with crown
Depending on who you'll ask, this boss is one of the above characters. Locking away Luigi, possibly because of how Luigi wrecked his evil plans in Luigi's Mansion, this boss is simply a tougher Big Boo with a few new attacks, and is still the same weakness wise.
Chief Chilly
An over confident Bully with a bad attitude, this arrogant Bully just hates anyone with a better mustache, and decided to lock away Wario for the sake of Wario having a more fearsome mustache (sounds corny, but true). While not as easily smashed off the platform as his lowly minions, he still sucumbs to the dangerous icy water.
Other:
Rabbits
These rabbits have stolen keys to mini games, and to the secret white room. Capture them to gain back the keys.
