Legend of Zelda Game Series

Although the DS hasn't had as many traditional Legend of Zelda games as some of the past handhelds, and that the only current Zelda game on Wii is technically a semi port of a Gamecube game, this page never the less will cover the Legend of Zelda games that were released for the DS and Wii.

Note: Anyone who can give more information about Phantom Hourglass, please contact me.

Phantom Hourglass

Legend of Zelda Phantom Hourglass

The first Legend of Zelda game on DS, this is a sort of sequel to the Legend of Zelda The Wind Waker, and brings back various features (and the art style). You've got more sailing (except with customisable boats), touch screen controls and a range of enemies and friendly characters returning from the series in general.

Storyline wise, it's not quite like most games, especially the lack of Ganon/Ganondorf from the storyline. Instead, the plot revolves around a mysterious ghost ship that's capturing innocent people, and which captures Tetra. As you may guess, this all turns out to be the evil doing of a mysterious evil character called Bellum who's been lurking at the bottom of the deadly dungeon called the Temple of the Ocean King.

Spirit Tracks

The sequel to Phantom Hourglass, this is the second Legend of Zelda game released on the DS console. Which involves a train, a mysterious knight type figure assisting Link, and a return to land based setting that's most likely the new Hyrule promised at the end of The Wind Waker. Future Wii Game

The future promised Legend of Zelda game, and the next Wii installment, all that we really know is that it's going to be a different type of Zelda game, be built for the Wii console specifically (unlike Twilight Princess), and that the below artwork hints at something or other.
