Mario Kart
From The DS Ultimate Wiki
Mario Kart is a popular kart racing spinoff of the Mario series. It first started back in the SNES era with Super Mario Kart, and that has been on nearly every console in the meantime (bar the original Gameboy/Colour). The latest game of interest was Mario Kart Wii.

Mario Kart DS
Mairo Kart DS entroduces the feature of connecting to Wi-Fi, you can race friends around the world or face a complete stranger! Mario Kart DS allows you to use the touch screen, but not for driving. In a race tap the touch screen and another map will show. The first one is to see the area around you, whilst the other is for the whole map of the course. I highly recommend this game. There are other modes such as Balloon Battle and Shine Runners. In Balloon Battle you get 5 balloons, blowing them uo at anytime you wish. Get items and pop each others balloons! The last one standing wins. In Shine Runners you kart your way to thr shine first, and try to stay in the round before the time runs out. You can also use items to get the shine out of the other player. ANd those are the 2 battle modes in MKDS. This is a great game, so hurry and get it!
Mario Kart Wii
Mario Kart Wii is the second MK game that can connect to Wi-Fi, meaning that you can play against others around the world. This is the 6th game in the series and I recommend to anybody who likes Mario and racing to get it. When you buy the game you get a free Wii Wheel, you'll have the enjoyment of racing with a wheel. The modes are the same in MKDS except that in MKDS it's shine runners but in MKWii it's coin runners. Try to get the most coins and be the last surviving. Or you can play in a team, and the team with the highest amount of coins wins. MKWii 32 courses to choose from, so you'll have a bunch of fun with this game. Try to fill out your driver's license!
